We love classroom celebrations at CSCS! Check out Mrs. Jackson's 5th grade ELA class working collaboratively on inferencing from a complex text and then a classroom "Go Team!" circle after they shared their learning! In addition, they made personal connections to the positive character traits of influential African American historical figures such as Jackie Robinson! #GOPANTHERS!

Trevor Colwell, one of our Seniors was recognized by his Bus Driver Mrs. Ayers for “Great Bus Conduct”! There was a student in need of assistance and Trevor helped out without being asked. Trevor is always respectful and helpful on the bus. Great Job Trevor!

Spring Sport sign ups begin February 11th on FamilyID. If you need a sports physical, the school will provide one free of charge on March 6th. An appointment will need to be made with Mrs. Fleet in the Health Office

Zane Folckemer 9th grade was recognized by his Bus Driver Mrs. Koperczak for “Great Bus Conduct”! Zane goes above and beyond. He is such a positive role model to all students on the bus. He is always willing to help and has a positive attitude! Way to go Zane!

What an amazing lesson in Mr. McKenna's 6th grade social studies classroom! Students collaboratively defined academic vocabulary from ancient Egypt, made pictures, sentences and even acted out the words. After that classmates had to classify the vocabulary terms in a Google Jamboard into Social Studies themes and justify their answers. Wonderful class engagement and discussion! #GOPANTHERS!

What's a Sphero? A Sphero is a little robot that students can program and control. In this lesson Mr. Heywood put numbers on the floor and then rolls a dice. Students can then add, subtract, multiply or divide the dice and then see how many cards they can run over and pick up with the Sphero's robots. If they hit a wrong card their turn is over! Thank you Mr. Heywood for bringing new and innovative learning opportunities to our students! #GOPANTHERS
