Our new Jr/Sr High School Art Club met for the first time last Thursday and discussed potential upcoming projects and worked on posters for the Spring Fine Arts Night. Excellent ideas and creativity were all around. These are pictures of students working on the fine arts night posters and brainstorming ideas. We are anticipating some really exciting and imaginative things from ART CLUB!

Aurora White 6th grade and Wynter Schutz 5th grade were recognized by their Bus Driver Mrs. Stopka. Aurora was recognized for “Rider of the Month”. She always sits properly in her seat for the whole bus ride and follows the bus rules. She is a great role model for other students. Keep up the great work Aurora! Wynter was recognized for “Great Bus Conduct”. Wynter is very well behaved, she is a good helper, and always willing to help out with the younger students. Great Job Wynter!

Mrs. Verbanic and Mrs. DuVall's class win pizza parties for working hard towards their SMART goals! In the spirit of Read Across America week Mrs. DuVall's class even made it a Buddy Reading Party! #GOPANTHERS!

Speech teachers do more than teach students how to speak! A huge shout out to Mrs. Romance as she presents to the 6th grade class about how to accept the differences in others and how to communicate kindly to each other in social situations. Kindness means supporting one another through empathy and compassion. #GOPANTHERS

6th grade ELA students making life lesson connections to the novel Bud Not Buddy and Steve Jobs lessons on life. They are researching ways be healthy and successful to make that part of their rules to live by! You can tell they are working hard as they have their "game faces" on! #GOPANTHERS!

Our 5th grade teachers created a "museum" for students to go through to learn background knowledge about Vietnam before their students start reading Inside Out and Back Again. An amazing way to prepare students for such a powerful story! #GOPANTHERS

What a rocking ROARS assembly today! Our students were recognized for working hard towards their SMART goals and our special BMX Star Mannie Nogueira showed us amazing tricks and our students cheered for him to "Try Again!" when he made a mistake. Boys on the Right Track registration is now OPEN! This program teaches boys important life skills such as problem solving, relationship building, and goal setting while training for a celebratory 5K!
