Our teachers are fired up after a meaningful conference day yesterday! CS leveraged it's own experts in-house to teach each other. Workshops focused on various topics from AI, instructional strategies, co-teaching, classroom technology, parent engagement, and NYSED's portrait of a graduate inititiative. We couldn't be more proud of our teacher leaders for their passion and dedication to put themselves "out there" and share their knowledge with their colleagues!

Panther Provisions, Rachel's Closet, and the Prom Shop are hosting a March Community Night. They will be open this Thursday, March 26th from 4:30-6pm. Stop by the Jr/Sr High School and "shop" for food, clothes, and/or Prom attire. Please use the doors near the Auditorium and bring reusable bags. This event is free and open to all families! Both Panther Provisions and Rachel's Closet have some great new items! We hope to see you there!

We celebrated an amazing Panthers Got Talent last weekend! A special recognition to our winners and every student that put themselves out there to perform!

A huge thank you to our maintenance team, families, PTO, and community for your continued support, and to Mr. Kaplan for providing the awards. We also appreciate our judges—Board of Education members Mr. Seeley and Mrs. Crans, along with PTO representative Krissy Spaulding—for taking on the tough job of choosing our winners.
It was no easy decision, but our winners are:
🥇 1st Place: The Band (Including Choice Miller, and Xander Davis)
🥈 2nd Place: McKinley DeCamp and Lila Simpson
🥉 3rd Place: Kayanna Landsborough and Rose Czyz

We’re proud to recognize Senior Dakota Ogden for being selected to play in the Exceptional Senior Game on Tuesday March 17th.
Dakota has represented our program the right way—through hard work, toughness, and commitment.

One of the best lessons to teach children is how to help others. 5th grade helped with PreK on the obstacle course in PE! The course can be scary, but not when you have an awesome older mentor to help!

CSCS Staff Spotlight for the month of March - Shawn Spear!

Shawn, a 1994 CS Alumni, is a very reliable, safety oriented, calm under pressure school bus driver! He always greets his students with a smile and makes the bus a welcoming safe space. He is the first encouraging face the children see in the morning, turning a daily commute into a pleasant, memorable, and safe adventure. Shawn can also be found at many sporting events at our high school and coaching as well. We are fortunate to have Shawn as a part of our Panther family!
