Congratulations to our varsity wrestling team and their success this past Saturday at the Walt Peterson Memorial Tournament in Avoca! Many of our wrestlers obtained several wins throughout the day and a couple of them placed in the top 4. Liam Maddock placed 1st in the 138lb weight class and Bryan Bulkley placed 4th at the 175lb weight class. We look forward to the sectional tournament this Saturday, February 7th at Perry High School.

The next CS Board of Education meeting will be held on Monday, February 23, 2026 in the Multipurpose Room located at the Jr./Sr. High School.
On Tuesday, February 10, 2026, the Campbell-Savona Board of Education and the Bradford Board of Education will hold a joint retreat at the Harbor Hotel in Watkins Glen, New York and will immediately go into executive session under Public Officers Law section 105 to meet with the vendor and exempt session under section 108 to meet with the attorneys.

The CS Cheerleaders had an amazing weekend with the Modified and JV achieving 2nd place and the Varsity team taking first place as grand champions at the Wellsville tournament with Maddison Hoag getting 2nd place in the jump off! This team is unstoppable!

PTO Roller Skating February 6th from 6-8pm in the Savona Gym and PTO Ice Skating at the Nasser Civic Center in Corning February 13th from 5:30-7:30pm! All elementary children PreK-6 must be accompanied by an adult. Family fun for everyone!

Dear CS Famillies,
Tomorrow morning, wind chill temperatures are expected to reach between -10 and -15 degrees. CS will be implementing its cold weather protocol for bussers and walkers.
Bus students should wait indoors and come outside only once the bus has arrived.
For walkers, buses traveling through town will offer rides along the main streets.
If your child will be outside for an extended period of time, please ensure they are dressed appropriately with warm coats, hats, and gloves.

A huge shout out to our students that participated in the Life, Powered by You event! Life, Powered by You is a career education event focused on teaching young woman about essential life skills that equate with career success. Girls spend the day attending various workshops focused on budgeting, communication, and presenting oneself in a professional manner. The presenters were all women who shared their personal stories of growth and how they overcame challenges. This event was sponsored in part by the Career Development Council.

Our CSCS Staff Spotlight for January is Erica Konopski (CS Alumni 1994). Erica is incredibly dedicated to our district. While her work is largely behind the scenes, she spends most of her days and nights at CS. Erica is the administrative assistant to the special education office, CS tax collector, CSEA President, Girl Scout leader, event chaperone, and a parent of CS students. She frequently volunteers to help in roles outside of her own to benefit our students! She is a Panther through and through!
