Like the word “dozen” represents 12 items, a mole represents 6.02 x 10^23 items (atoms, molecules, etc.), which is why we celebrate it from 6:02 am – 6:02 pm on October 23rd.

Panther Provisions will be coordinating the BackPack Program for Savona Elementary this year. The BackPack program is an initiative originally through the Food Bank to help provide nutritious, kid-friendly food to families on weekends. This year families with children in the Elementary will have a few opportunities throughout the year to enroll in this initiative. The first BackPack filling opportunity was a huge success. Students and staff from across the district worked together to build more than 160 packs in less than 30 minutes! The Campbell-Savona community is incredible!

We pre-gamed Homecoming weekend with the community Color Run! Shoutout to the many volunteers including current and past students, staff, and family members who helped make this event possible!
