A shout out to elementary teachers Tiffani Hunter, Chelsey Cooper, and Sarah DuVall. They participated in the BOCES Intensive Literacy Learning Collaborative which focused on literacy instruction aligned with the Science of Reading. They learned tools and strategies to help strengthen reading skills, boost confidence, and set students up for success! Recognizing our teachers as being lifelong learners!

Real world skills in action! Check out our 7th grade students learning how to budget their money in FACS class. They are shopping for groceries for their families with a specific budget! They also factor in their expenses. They are having a blast and learning practical skills. The group to buy the most food wins a prize. Students are looking for deals and coupons!

Mark your calendars for our 6th grade play - The Ever After! This funny and whimsical musical will take place on Thursday, April 3rd at 7pm in the Savona Cafetorium! The whole community is invited, and it is free!

Our students learned about Yellowstone, The Great Smoky Mountains, the Rockies, Glacier National Park, and the Redwoods.
Then our 7th graders became city planners addressing light pollution. They built communities out of recyclable materials and designed ping pong ball lighting solutions!
