The Campbell-Savona School District has been recognizing our amazing staff this week as they give their all and put our students first in all aspects of our school. From the morning smile of the bus driver, the special band aid from the nurse, the amazing breakfast and lunch served with a smile in the cafeteria, to the smile of the teaching assistant and aides in the classroom reading that special story to spark a love of reading, and of course, to the CS teacher that builds a classroom community akin to a family throughout the school year. Alumni & Community Spotlight! Gail Benjamin Thomson, a 1971 graduate, began running marathons in 1980, has completed 30 consecutive Boston Marathons, is inducted into the Quarter Century Club, and earned the title of a Golden Gazelle. Gail has run 61 marathons, 40 half marathons, and coaches young runners. We continue to collect celebrations of our alumni, community members, faculty, and staff. We would like to recognize our school bus drivers who take care of the most precious cargo in our community - Our Children! CS bus drivers bring their best every day to keep our students safe and get them wherever they need to be, whether it is home, a sporting event, or a field trip!
