The CS Board of Education toured the Jr/Sr High School yesterday. They spent the day seeing the daily running of the school, visiting teachers and students, and looking at the infrastructure and physical plant. They even made the news! We would like to recognize our school bus drivers who take care of the most precious cargo in our community - Our Children! CS bus drivers bring their best every day to keep our students safe and get them wherever they need to be, whether it is home, a sporting event, or a field trip! To the first and last face a child sees every morning, thank you for all you do! We love our bus drivers! A special thank you to the CS PTSO that provided donuts and pizza for our drivers this morning! #GOPANTHERS!

Continuing to celebrate our school during Spring Break. Check out Mrs. Stark's bus as she did a wonderful easter egg hunt last week! Every staff member makes a difference and can positively affect a child’s life! We love our bus drivers! #GOPANTHERS!

We're seeking support for a student and their family displaced by a house fire. Thankfully, everyone is safe, but they lost most belongings and need food, clothing, and essentials. We're collecting gift cards to help. If you can contribute, please contact the school or drop off cards at Campbell-Savona High, attention Shannon Hickey starting on Aprill22nd when school is back in session. His awards include the Pulitzer Prize for Public Service, Toner Prize, and George Polk Award, Alfred I. Dupont-Columbia University Award, and reported from 14 countries. Faculty/Staff Spotlight! This spotlight's Nicole Hoag. Nicole embodies CSCS’s values. As an elementary teacher and cheer coach, she dedicates countless hours to her students and athletes. We would like to highlight our first Spotlight Recognition to Krissy Spaulding. Krissy is a cornerstone of our community, dedicating her time to youth sports and the PTO. She plans events, serves on sports boards, and treats everyone like family. With three kids in the district, she's deeply connected to the school. Krissy's efforts make our community a better place. As part of Ag in the classroom our 2nd graders read the story "The Pie that Molly Grew" and then helped to make their own mini-pumpkin pies! #GOPANTHERS!

A shout out to elementary teachers Tiffani Hunter, Chelsey Cooper, and Sarah DuVall. They participated in the BOCES Intensive Literacy Learning Collaborative which focused on literacy instruction aligned with the Science of Reading. They learned tools and strategies to help strengthen reading skills, boost confidence, and set students up for success! Recognizing our teachers as being lifelong learners! #GOPANTHERS!

Our 7th grade students were asked to write a letter to an adult who positively influenced their lives and it's no surprise that many of them picked one of their elementary teachers! So, today let's celebrate them! #GOPANTHERS!
